Would you agree with this statement about Premier League/English footballers?

I would say it was true only to some extent, the Spanish League is way above any other league at present on technical ability but if you look at the last few champions league finalists that doesn't always transfer to trophies. Look at the semi final last year of Inter v Barcelona, Inter were too physically and tactically strong for Barcelona.
