He obviously cares about you! Hes only fussing with you because he do care, If he did not care he would argue or fuss. Falling in love with a friend is difficult but I do agree with the other comment you both should talk it out to see where each other stand. Or maybe if you don't feel comfortable talking to him about it may not be meant to be. You should find someone who is going to love you and not take take it back. Have you ever asked him why he changed his mind about wanting you? He may have a valid reason, like he wants you all to be friends for a life time.
