Positive Mental Attitudes. Are they inherited ?

Just to clarify my parents were louzy roles models. I was the youngest of six. Have no childhood memories that I can recollect and I was always made to feel I was an accident. I was also the only one not to be christened yet all the others were. Could this be what is affecting me as an adult. I studied religious education at school and had my only daughter christened, but i started a degree in September and had to do a major igment on Evolution vs Creation (science v religion) and it has kind of messed with my head and i've started losing touch with reality and questionning a lot more about life to the point where I am over anlyzing cituations far too much instead of just relaxing and letting nature take its course
