Is there help for someone who studies compulsively?

I'm a 31-year-old college student, and I don't know if it's just how I am or that I waited so long for the opportunity to go back to school or what, but I can't seem to stop studying or thinking about schoolwork. I know this may seem like a positive, but everyone in my life (and that number is quickly dwindling, seeing as I hole myself up in my room so much studying, doing homework, doing extra studying and homework, etc.) is warning me that I need to slow down, only I just can't seem to do it. I'll get online with the intention of going on Facebook and find myself on a website for an accompaniment for one of my textbooks, looking over vocabulary words and taking practice quizzes over and over. I'll go to rent a movie and instead of getting something to just indulge in escapism, I will get something that is pertinent to one of my cles. My grades are great, but I can't sleep because I'm either studying or thinking about schoolwork (or stressing about it), and I'm becoming more and more a nervous wreck. Seriously, should I look into getting professional help, or is there some kind of support group for compulsive studiers?
