Do other people who study anthropology ever start wondering about our society's view of ?

My thoughts? I don't want people expecting me to give them a cup of sugar or some just for the asking. I've never heard such an account, and I automatically question its veracity. Regardless, I'm glad we don't/no longer do *many* things some historic civilizations did.
