It is extremely hard to say that one HMO is 'better' than another. You indeed have to look at the details of the plan, weigh the costs, and ask others who have the plans what their experience has been. If your providers are in one network as opposed to another, this can surely weigh in heavily on your decision. I wish it were easy - it just isnt.
